Why Rye, NH:
Rye offers a nice alternative to the busy and touristy Hampton Beach. Located less than 3 miles north of Hampton Beach along Rte. 1A (Ocean BLVD) (directions), Rye is a scenic and historic stretch of coastline that is quintessential "New England". Uncrowded beaches and lineups make Rye the ideal New Hampshire surf getaway.

Surf:
Because Rye boasts the best point breaks in New Hampshire as well as intermediate and advanced beach breaks, long boarders and beginners can find fun long lines while short boarders can discover punchy beach breaks with enough power to air-out. Accommodations and Food:
Rye, NH is also home to many quaint cottages and cabins available for summer rentals as well as hotels and campgrounds which provide affordable options. And as far as food goes, our surf shop is about as convenient as it gets. We have a Pizza and Sub Shop directly to our left and a grocery store to our right. You can rent a board, fill your belly, buy beers, and walk to the beach all from the convenience of the surf shop parking lot.

Other Activities at Summer Sessions
If the swell happens to be small or surfing just isn't your thing, there are plenty of other activities offered through the shop. Fishing and cruises, Scuba Diving & Snorkeling tours, Bike rentals, Kayak rentals, Horseback riding, Skimboard lessons and Beach Yoga can all be scheduled through the store or our partners. There is plenty to keep you busy and active.

Nightlife:
You want to party? There is plenty of that in Rye and Portsmouth, but you better still be up for the dawny sessions regardless of how many brews you throw back! Portsmouth is a really chill downtown area with pubs, sports bars, and clubs.
